Interpreting Reports

This guide provides insights on how to interpret and understand the Share of Search reports generated by the SearchShare platform.

The pie chart gives a visual representation of different search categories within a specific context. Each segment of the pie chart represents a category.

  • Legend: On the side, there's a legend detailing each category and its corresponding color on the pie.
  • Percentage: The percentage indicates the proportion of each category with respect to the total.

These charts display the trend of different search categories over a monthly period.

  • X-Axis: Represents the timeline (months).
  • Y-Axis: Represents the search count or volume.
  • Colored Areas: Each color represents a different search category. The thickness of the color band at any point in time indicates the volume of searches for that category.
  • Tooltip: Hovering over a specific month will display a tooltip with detailed numbers for each category.

Line Graphs

The line graphs show trends over time for specific metrics. Each line can represent a different category or metric.

  • X-Axis: Represents the timeline (months or dates).
  • Y-Axis: Represents the metric being measured (e.g., search volume).
  • Lines: Different lines can indicate different categories or metrics.
  • Data Points: Specific points on the lines show the value at that particular time. Hovering over these points can give detailed info.

Bar Graph: Monthly SRs Report

The bar graph provides a monthly comparison of specific metrics.

  • X-Axis: Represents the months.
  • Y-Axis: Represents the count or volume of the metric being measured.
  • Bars: Each bar represents the value for a specific month. The height of the bar indicates the value.
